We've taken a high percentage of fresh Trinidad Scorpion Peppers and balance them out with some Scotch Bonnets, creating a very high heat that drops off just before becoming TOO uncomfortable. To accent the burst of floral notes from the Scorpion Peppers we've created a full journey of flavors that includes Apricot, Blueberry and Carrot. This sauce reflects a full gallery of taste sensations, with a bold high heat, that will compliment every and any dish you can think up!!!

Ingredients: Trinidad scorpion peppers, scotch bonnet peppers, cider vinegar, apricot preserves, water, blueberries, carrots, honey, onion, soy sauce, sea salt, garlic, ginger, white pepper.

    Oh, that flavour!

    Amazing blend of taste with fruit/sweet veggie color, this sauce is not so hot but sooo tasty. Goes fine with cheese (especially goat), some meat and seafood. This will tickle your tongue and leave a sweet tasty aftertaste.

    Great flavor and heat

    HBD's Cauterizer is this sauce but made with fresh scorpion peppers in place of dried scorpions and scotch bonnet peppers. In comparison to Cauterizer (which I already reviewed), 1498 is not quite as hot, and more balanced flavor. The flavor of the scorpion peppers and the vinegar both stand out more in Cauterizer, where 1498 is perfectly balanced and a little sweeter. As I stated on my review for Cauterizer, it is probably my #1 all-time hot sauce, if I had to pick. And there are so many that I absolutely love. However, I still can recommend this sauce as it's not too far behind Cauterizer. The taste is fantastic, and it has some pretty good heat as well. Strongly recommend this on a burrito or eggs.

    i have to say i am very impressed with this sauce i bought it about a month back and didnt know what to expect but since i bought it has aged and has got hotter it is a very good sauce it has a sweetness as well as spicy i would reccomend this sauce to almost anyone
